The Bless Box
I never thought in a million years that I would purchase a subscription box. They all seemed a little too pricey, with products that didn’t appeal to me. But when Sazan Hendrix unveiled her latest project, the Bless Box, I knew I wanted to try it.
Sazan, if you don’t know her already, is an amazing blogger, entrepreneur, beauty and fashion influencer. Even with over 684,000 followers on Instagram, she always manages to stay humble and to live true to her faith. I’ve been following her for a few years and she’s one of the people who inspired me to start my own blog.
I’m so excited to share with you today what I thought of the Bless Box and to review some of my favorite products from it.
The Bless Box arrived on my front door on December 24th - just in time for Christmas. While Sazan had teased a few of the items in the box on Instagram, most of the products in the Bless Box were a complete surprise.
The items in December’s Bless Box are worth over $100. Just take a look at everything that came in the box below! You definitely get a ton of value for your money - the box is only $29.99 a month and the more months you commit to - the lower the price of the box becomes. I love that the box included both brands I had heard of before and brands that are completely new to me. I feel like Sazan work hard to curate a box that was the best of both worlds.
My 4 favorites from the box include:
1. Beanie from Vici Dolls
This beanie is so warm! I had never heard of the brand Vici Dolls before but once I wore this hat I started following them on Instagram. Take look at their site and you’ll see that they’re both affordable and fashionable. If you were to purchase the hat by itself it’s $20 - so to have it included in the box with everything else is such a steal!
2. Vanilla Bean Candle
I’m already a huge fan of DW candles and stock up on them like crazy from Home Goods - some of my favorite scents are: Autumn Leaves, Honey Pumpkin, and Sea Glass. I even like them better than the popular candle brands, White Barn and Yankee Candle (they are cheaper too!). The scents are natural and not overbearing. This Vanilla Bean candle smells amazing as well and I can’t wait to burn it.
3. Maybelline Lipstick
I love that the lipstick that Sazan included in this box got me to try something new. I tend to go for subtle pinks and mauves, and would never think to pick up a brown lipstick. But it really is a flattering shade - even though I’m very fair skinned.
4. Kalos After Hours | Soothing Night Cream
I love anything lavender, and was so excited to see that this night cream was lavender scented. The cream has lavender, vitamin e, and coconut oil in it. I’ve only used it once but I noticed my skin was softer and firmer after using.
I love the box so much that I decided to sign up for the 6 month subscription. Over the next 6 months I’m going to share my unboxing with you guys every month along with a feature on my favorite products.
I’d love to hear if you got the box too and what items were your favorite!
