Virginia Beach Style Diary: The 10 Year Old Jacket

Virginia Beach in May is still a bit cool and breezy. It was warm enough to walk around in jeans and a tank top but I definitely needed a jacket when heading out to a date night with Chris.

While I’m not sure exactly how long I’ve owned this jean jacket, I do know it’s about 10 years. I got it at Target around the end of high school/beginning of college and it’s survived every closet purge I’ve made!

This was the perfect jean jacket to pair with skinny jeans and a white tank for a casual date night out in Virginia Beach (I’ll be sharing our dinner date spots later this week!). My favorite part of this jacket is the sleeves. I love the floral fabric underneath, which I always choose to roll up just a few inches.

I wore this with some of my favorite Banana Republic pieces, their Convertible Crossbody, white tank, and my Vye Aviators that came in the Bless Box earlier this year.

While I love mixing up my wardrobe with new pieces, some of the best ones I own are years old. What are some of your favorites pieces you’ve had forever?
