A Style Diary: Anthropologie at University of Virginia
Whenever Chris and I visit new cities we love exploring local college campuses. The University of Virginia campus is one of the most beautiful that we’ve been to and became the backdrop for many of our style shoots during our time in Charlottesville.
One of my favorite stores to window shop at is Anthropologie. I don’t shop there often, unless they’re running a great sale and during our time in Virginia they had a 20 percent off sale the weekend of Mother’s Day. I was able to snag these two pieces, a striped and flowy boatneck top and the softest pants I own (that are not pajamas!).
Anthropologie is currently running a 40 percent off all sale items, so if you want these pants you’re in luck. They are on clearance and only have a few left. I love that they are versatile enough to wear on a weekend and for work.
The campus of UVA was the perfect place to capture this look. I love exploring the brick-lined pathways, white columns, and marble staircases. College campuses can be so quiet in the late Spring because of all the students studying for finals, but also buzzing with excitement for graduation. It was the perfect time of year for us to walk around and enjoy!
I have so much about Charlottesville that I’m excited to share with you and UVA is just a small part. Coming up this week, I’ll be talking about our favorite winery, just a 30 minute drive outside of Charlottesville. It’s so beautiful you’ll think these pictures were taken in Napa Valley!
